Programmers Coffee Morning, in partnership with Arts Alive
This virtual networking event invites Programmers from across the Rural Touring network to share success stories with their peers, perhaps you have seen something great recently at Edinburgh or any other festival, well this is the meeting for you to tell us all about it.
Come prepared with 2-3 examples of successful shows/events you've programmed. Learn from others, share knowledge and build relationships within the network.
Sign up via this Eventbrite link to join the next meeting for free.
Wednesday 18th September
1.30 - 2.30pm
Open Space - Schemes
This is a meeting for Rural Touring Scheme members hosted by Holly. Discussions based around funding, future planning and asks in light of upcoming NPO rounds, local authority funding and government agendas.Â
Thurs 19th  September
10am - 11am
Open Space - Promoters
These sessions are specifically for Promoters to come along, meet and share with others working hard to bring brilliant artists to their local village hall, library or event.Â
Most Rural Touring promoters are voluntary, and we understand your time is really valuable. This is a great opportunity for you to share your experiences and challenges with others, and hopefully share your amazing tips and tricks for making sure the shows can go on!
If you are on our mailing list, the link will be emailed directly to you, or you can ask your Scheme to send you the information and the link to join. We usually send this out just a few days before the meeting.
Please note: Although we love to hear from everyone involved in Rural Touring, this meeting is for Promoters, rather than artists. Artist members are encouraged to join our Member Drop-In sessions or What Next? Rural meetings.
